Irrigation and Wells for Your Garden
The Family Garden Club of Englewood will hold the sixth meeting of their 2017-2018 season on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. The meeting will be held in the second floor conference room at the Elsie Quirk Library starting at 10:00am. Our speaker will be Patrick Williams, with the University of Florida Continuing Education Department. His topic will be “Irrigation and Wells, How to Help Your Garden”. Patrick will be discussing the various ways to irrigate gardens and the role of wells as an optional water source. Included in the talk will be the pros and cons of shallow and deep wells and associated regulations.
A coffee social will follow this meeting and you will have the opportunity to meet other attendees and club members. Please feel free to joins us. Everyone is welcome. When you attend our meetings you will get to meet our members and have the opportunity to ask them gardening questions related to Southwest Florida gardening.
